Preliminary Task

This where I created a school magazine and used all the common codes and conventions for that type of magazine, for example bar codes, headings, sub-headings main title headlines etc. to see what was involved and also this helped me see what it was like to make a front and contents page of a magazine and to link it with the target audience. In this case the target audience was students from west hatch, with a special Christmas edition.

The contents and the front cover both have the same font and colours so the magazine can be recognised.

I could make a few changes to make the contents page more exciting and stand out by putting in borders along the top edges and stressing words to make certain articles or interviews stand out.
